Carol Morley is a Canadian naturopathic doctor with over 20 years of clinical experience helping patients take a proactive, preventative approach to their health. She is known for combining evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with practical education, empowering patients to understand their bodies and make sustainable changes that support long-term wellbeing.
As the owner of Zawada Health, Carol works with patients who want more than symptom management. Her approach focuses on the foundations of health — nutrition, movement, sleep, and nervous system balance — and then builds personalized treatment plans that fit real lives. Education is central to her care: Carol believes that when patients understand why something is happening in their body, they are more confident, engaged, and successful in their health journey.
Carol has a particular interest in women’s health, sports medicine, pediatric nutrition, and preventative care, supporting patients through different life stages and maintaining vitality as we age. She also works as a consultant for an endometriosis advocacy and education group, helping advance informed, patient-centred care in this area.
In addition to her clinical practice, Carol is deeply involved in leadership and education within the profession. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Board at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), contributing to the future of naturopathic medical education in Canada. Over the course of her career, she has played many roles — clinician, educator, advisor, author, and media contributor — giving her a broad and grounded perspective on healthcare.
Carol is a trusted voice in nutrition and preventative health and has shared her expertise on Global News TV’s Family Health, CTV’s The Social, W Network’s Style by Jury, the Human Nature Network on CHUM Radio, and in numerous newspaper and magazine articles over the years. She also regularly speaks on nutrition and performance to youth athletes at the grassroots, provincial, and national levels, helping young athletes build strong foundations for health, recovery, and longevity.
Her passion for food as medicine led her to author Delicious Detox, a cookbook designed to make healthy eating approachable, enjoyable, and realistic — a philosophy she brings into every patient interaction.
Carol holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University and is a graduate of CCNM. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
Carol lives in Toronto with her family. She understands the challenges of busy lives, changing bodies, and competing priorities, and believes that good healthcare should feel supportive, informed, and achievable — not overwhelming.
Carol welcomes patients who are ready to take an active role in their health and are looking for thoughtful, preventative care grounded in education and experience.
