Lab tests may be ordered in response to you sharing concerns or symptoms with your Naturopathic Doctor. They may also be ordered to establish a baseline for your health, monitor your health, or as part of an overall wellness program.
Laboratory tests are recommended by our Naturopathic Doctors only if they need additional information to put together a comprehensive treatment plan for an individual. Most lab tests are or can be shipped directly to you and can be done in the comfort of your own home. When we get the results we will contact you to schedule a follow up appointment.
Laboratory tests done at Zawada Health are not covered by OHIP but may fall under some extended health insurance plans or health spending accounts.
