Custom Orthotics – Who Can Benefit From Them?
A custom orthotic is a device designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position. They look like insoles, but are biomechanical medial appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance.
The symptoms of poor foot mechanics can include any one of the following:
Localized foot pain
Bunions, hammer toes
Hip or back pain – even neck pain
Did you know Dr. Carol has been doing orthotics since 2003? With her kinesiology background and interest in exercise physiology and biomechanics, it was a natural fit to offer to patients that may need it over the years!
