Micro-Needling
Collagen induction therapy micro-needling is perhaps the most successful treatment in combating the common concerns of aging skin. The eDermaStamp is a certified medical-grade device licenced by Health Canada.
The medical-grade micro-needles are non-traumatic and respect the integrity of the epidermis and dermis. Poorer quality devices have needles that slice through tissue and risk causing skin, vessel, and nerve damage.
Micro-needling triggers the body’s own healing process, stimulating cell growth and causing the formation of new collagen. This results in a thicker and more supple cellular matrix, and visibly younger looking skin.
I did a treatment a year ago and was surprised at the change in texture of my skin. I have been doing the research for a while now and have seen some great results in not only wrinkles and texture but in stubborn acne scarring as well. Of course everyone is an individual so some people may only do 1 treatment. Some people will need 3 treatments spaced out 6 weeks apart. Your skin is a bit red and flushed for 24 hours and no makeup and sun exposure is recommended during this time. Micro-needling is suitable for all skin tones.

Fall is the ideal time for chemical peels due to reduced sun exposure, allowing for safer recovery and better results. Cooler weather aids in skin renewal, helping to repair summer damage and prepare for winter dryness. At Zawada Health, choose from three AlumierMD peels—Glow Peel, Radiant 30 Peel, and BHA 20 Peel—to address acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and more, for rejuvenated, glowing skin.
