DR. CAROL MORLEY, NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR & CLINIC OWNER
Carol Morley has been a prominent naturopathic doctor in Canada since graduating in 2003, and is dedicated to improving the health of her patients.
She is the owner of Zawada Health and serves as a Director on the Board of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), where she has been a past vice-chair, and chair of the governance committee. She was also on the advisory board for Ferring Pharmaceuticals as they grew their natural health care products segment.
Over the years she has contributed to television segments on Global TV’s Family Health, CTV’s The Social, W Network’s Style by Jury; Human Nature Network, a nationally syndicated radio program through CHUM radio sharing nutrition tips; and to newspaper and magazine articles on women’s health and nutrition.
Carol’s passion for cooking and education also led her to author and publish Delicious Detox, a cookbook that guides patients to healthy cooking that doesn’t sacrifice taste.
Carol’s approach to supporting her patients focuses on the pillars of health including nutrition, movement, and sleep. She then builds personalized treatment plans that meet patients’ health care needs and lifestyles. Education is the cornerstone of how Carol helps guide and motivate patients to achieving their goals.
Carol is a graduate of McMaster University’s Kinesiology program and the CCNM. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND) and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She has also taken additional certification courses post graduation to be able to skillfully perform cosmetic acupuncture, DermaSpark micro-needling, and AlumierMD chemical peels.
Carol and her family live in the west end of Toronto. Her three kids eat their vegetables - even kale!
Hélène's specialties include Swedish massage (for deep tissue or relaxation treatment), hot stone massage, pregnancy massage (pre and post natal), repetitive strain injuries, chronic pain management, fibromyalgia, tension and migraine headaches, neurological disorders (ie: Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson) and treatment for special needs.
