Naturally Soothe Allergies: DIY Allergy-Relief Tea Recipe

Here's a simple recipe for a homemade allergy-relief tea that incorporates ingredients known for their potential to alleviate allergy symptoms:

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of raw, local honey (rich in trace amounts of pollen, which may help desensitize the body to allergens)
  • 1 teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar (contains beneficial enzymes and supports overall health)
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice (rich in vitamin C and antioxidants)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground turmeric (has anti-inflammatory properties)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger (helps reduce inflammation and alleviate allergy symptoms)
  • 1 cup of hot water

Instructions:

  1. Boil water in a kettle or saucepan.
  2. While the water is heating, combine the raw honey, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, turmeric, and ginger in a mug.
  3. Once the water is hot, pour it into the mug over the other ingredients.
  4. Stir well to ensure the honey and spices are fully dissolved.
  5. Allow the tea to cool slightly before sipping.
  6. Drink this allergy-relief tea once or twice daily, particularly during peak allergy season or when experiencing allergy symptoms.

Additional Tips:

  • You can adjust the amounts of honey, lemon juice, and spices to suit your taste preferences.
